1. Nature of the Service (AI Disclaimer)

Critter AI is an artificial intelligence roleplay and companion app designed for entertainment purposes only.

• Fictional Content: The characters (Shiro, Mimi, Punch, Poko) are powered by AI. Everything they say is entirely made up. You should not take their statements as factual, accurate, or truthful.
• No Professional Advice: The AI's responses (including features like Shiro's “Glitch Vision” predictions) do not constitute medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.
• User Discretion: You are solely responsible for your interactions with the AI.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use Critter AI. If you are under 18, you must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to use the Service or make any purchases.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Subscriptions (Critter AI Pro)

• Pro Features: We offer a premium subscription (“Pro”) that unlocks exclusive pets (Punch and Poko), expanded AI memory, and other premium features.
• Billing: Pro subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually) through your app store provider (Google Play Store).
• Cancellations: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your app store account settings. Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. There are no refunds for partial subscription periods.

4. Virtual Currency and Goods (Coins & Treats)

Critter AI features an in-app currency (“Coins”) that can be used to interact with features such as feeding your pets treats, restoring energy, or using the “Imagine” image generation tool.

• Acquisition: Coins can be purchased with real money or earned through interactions, such as watching advertisements.
• No Real-World Value: Coins, treats, and any other virtual items have no real-world monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded, or transferred to other users or outside the app.
• Revocation: We reserve the right to manage, regulate, modify, or eliminate virtual currency and items at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

5. Content and Privacy (Chat Memory)

• Your Chats: When you interact with our AI pets, your text inputs and generated images are processed by our servers.
• Pet Memory: Our AI pets are designed to “remember” your likes and dislikes to improve your roleplay experience. By using the app, you consent to this data being stored. You retain full control over this feature and can view or delete these saved memories at any time via your Pet Profile.
• License: By submitting inputs (prompts) to the Service, you grant Critter AI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, and process that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to use Critter AI to:

• Generate, promote, or distribute illegal content, hate speech, severe violence, or non-consensual sexual content.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or the platform.
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or exploit the app's code, API, or virtual currency system.
• Use automated scripts or bots to farm Coins or interact with the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including the app design, code, pet characters (Shiro, Mimi, Punch, Poko), and the underlying AI models are the exclusive property of Critter AI and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without express written permission.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

You agree not to use Critter AI to:

• “As-Is” Service: Critter AI is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
• Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Critter AI and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service, the AI-generated responses, or the loss of digital assets (Coins/Pro status).

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our app or legal requirements. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document or via an in-app notification. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
