• Chat Data & Memory: We collect the messages you send to Shiro, Mimi, Punch, and Poko. Our “Memory” feature specifically stores your stated likes, dislikes, and facts to improve roleplay.
• User-Generated Content: If you use the “Imagine” feature, we process the prompts used to generate those images.

B. Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: We collect information about your mobile device, including model, operating system, unique device identifiers, and IP address.
• Usage Data: We track how you interact with the app, such as your pet's Bond Level, Energy Level, frequency of feeding, and which features you use most.
• Log Data: Our servers automatically record information created by your use of the Service.

C. Information from Third Parties

• Payment Processors: If you purchase Coins or a Pro Subscription, we receive confirmation of payment from the Google Play Store. We do not store your credit card or bank details.
• Advertising Partners: To provide the “Watch an Ad for Coins” feature, we work with third-party ad networks (e.g., Google AdMob, Unity Ads) that may collect device identifiers to serve personalized ads.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• To Provide the Service: Maintaining your pet's status, bond levels, and chat history.
• Personalization: Using the “Memory” feature to ensure your AI pet remembers your previous interactions.
• Notifications: Sending promotional notifications and alerts when your pet feels lonely or hungry.
• Safety & Improvements: To detect and prevent fraud or system abuse and to improve the AI models (anonymized where possible).
• Monetization: Managing your virtual coin balance and Pro subscription status.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: With vendors who help us with cloud hosting (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) or AI model processing.
• Legal Requirements: If required by law, we may disclose your information to comply with legal obligations or protect the rights and safety of our users.
• Advertising: We share limited, non-identifiable device data with advertising partners to facilitate in-game rewarded ads.

4. Your Controls and Choices

We believe you should have total control over your AI companion's memory:

• Delete Memories: You can view, edit, or delete specific “saved memories” directly from your Pet's Profile at any time.
• Chat History: You can clear your chat history with any specific pet.
• Push Notifications: You can opt-out of hunger/loneliness alerts through your device settings.
• Account Deletion: You may request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us or using the in-app “Delete Account” button.

5. Data Retention

• Chat & Memory: We retain your chat history and pet memories as long as your account is active to provide a consistent experience.
• Coins & Purchases: Transaction records are kept for accounting and support purposes as required by financial regulations.

6. Children's Privacy

Critter AI is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will take immediate steps to delete such information.

7. International Data Transfers

As a global service, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of your own. We ensure that such transfers are protected by appropriate legal safeguards and encryption.
